You may not have heard of Pickleball, it is the fastest growing sport in America, and is rapidly gaining popularity in the UK too. The game is a cross between badminton, tennis and table tennis. It’s great fun and brilliant exercise for all the family. Join us on Sundays from 9.30am to 11.30am to have a go.
We have experienced players on hand to guide you through the basics. Learn more about Pickleball here: How to play Pickleball.
What is Pickleball?
Pickleball is an indoor or outdoor racket/paddle sport where two players (singles), or four players (doubles), hit a perforated hollow polymer ball over a 36-inch-high (0.91 m) net using solid-faced paddles.
Growing interest in the sport is attributed to a number of factors including a short learning curve, appeal to a wide range of ages and fitness levels, and low startup costs.
